Knowledge and Skills Statement

Digital citizenship--ethics and laws. The student recognizes and practices responsible, legal, and ethical behavior while using digital tools and resources.

Demonstrated Proficiency

Present students with scenarios that follow or do not follow local policies or technology center rules related to the use of digital resources and devices. Ask students to identify if the scenario represents "acceptable use" or "not acceptable use" and explain their answer. Ask students to explain the importance of having rules when using technology.
