Some districts have a standard training site affiliation agreement describing what is expected of training sites and sponsors. If not, a district should at least have a list of training sponsor responsibilities. The training sponsor should sign it to indicate an understanding of basic requirements and responsibilities of a training site.

Training sponsors cannot learn everything they need to know by simply reading a list of duties and responsibilities. There are several ways you can help train sponsors to provide effective work-based learning (WBL) sites, including interviews, brochures, and/or a training sponsor orientation session.
