Student grades should be based in part on training sponsor evaluations and weekly training reports. The remainder of the student’s grade should be based on how well the student performed on classwork and other classroom assignments.

Classroom instruction and learning activities will vary depending on the specific Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) of the course.

Sections 10 and 11 of this training course cover tips and resources for planning and delivering classroom instruction for courses with WBL experiences.

As mentioned in the previous lesson, at the end of the school year, WBL teacher teachers close out all records and grades for the current year and begin their preparation for the next CTE program cycle. To prepare for the next year, teacher-coordinators

• review and update the database of prospective and current employers; and
• review and update the preliminary list of the students expected in the fall.
